UPDATE 07/03/07- Summer is upon us, and slackers we are, we're still working on the demo. It's actually in the final mixing stages, so near completion we can almost taste it. No promises, but it might make it's debut this summer, maybe around Nedfest time. Speaking of which, we've just added an after fest gig at the Stage Stop Inn in Rollinsville. This is a great old room dating back to the 1860's, and the upstairs has become an excellent music venue. We'll be playing with Mojambus and Blue Turtle Seduction, so it should be cranking through the night.
UPDATE 02/12/07- Well, we're mostly dug out here from the holiday snows. The blizzard of '06 turned into the blizzards of 06-07. Needless to say it set us back on our collective schedules. Good skiing though! Recording has slowly resumed on the demo. Calls are being made and new gigs are being added. We should start seeing some more dates soon. UPDATE 11/08/06 - New Year's Eve at the First Street in Nederland has just been added!! We're really looking forward to this show. New Year's is always a great gig, and we're happy to be having it as our debut at the venue. Also, we've been featured in a music based web publication from Argentina. UPDATE 10/20/06 - Still working in the studio on the demo. There's nothing so humbling as hearing your own voice all by itself through a big set of studio monitors. Thank God for reverb!! It's coming along, and it should be a good one. We're also gearing up for the upcoming Halloween show at the Gold Hill Inn. For those of you that don't know, the Inn is an historic building (1870's) in a tiny mining town up in the hills. The restaurant is a gourmet dining experience with a six course meal. It's worth the trip and then some. After dinner wraps up, we'll play into the night. We did it last year and had a blast. Come in costume. See ya there.
UPDATE 08/28/06 - Wow, what a weekend. We want to thank everyone who came out Saturday night for the P.I. gig. Epic. Special thanks to all our friends old and new who stepped up and added a whole lot to the mix; Alan Stecher, Blackdog from Soul Reclusion (and the whole Ridnell clan), Patrick Latella from the Ethereal Plane, Charlie Little Star from down on the bayou, MC3D on the mic, Danny with the save of the day having a spare tele on deck, and most importantly, all of you who came and gave us such great energy to play with. That room was on fire that night, and everybody got to be part of it. Real special thanks to Phillip for helping us get up and running. UPDATE 08/23/06 - Hard at work getting ready for the big weekend. We'll be doing a tweener at Nedfest around 6:30, after Albino and right before Melvin Seals and JGB!! We're doing an acoustic set, and for those of you that've seen us, you know we're usually pretty loud, so it's a treat to hear ourselves form that perspective. We enjoyed playing stripped down and are looking forward to hearing it on a festival stage. The next night we move down the street for the Saturday night party at the Pioneer Inn. This is gonna be one fun night to remember. This could be the biggest fest ever and we're so excited to be playing in town. Come party your pants off.
UPDATE 08/12/06 - FESTIVAL!!!! We've just been added for a Friday evening 'tweener at Nedfest. We're really excited to be sharing the stage with such a stellar line up.
UPDATE 08/06/06 - We've been working in the studio recording a few new tunes getting our new demo together. Things are sounding good with the basic tracks. We'll post some rough sound clips up here as we start throwing them together.
UPDATE 07/28/06 - We recently recorded a bunch of pieces to be used in a La Sportiva promo spot. The final edit looks and sounds pretty cool. Keep an eye out for it.
